1. Introduction

LIA4ALL ("LIA4ALL", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of the people and organizations using our service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use the LIA4ALL platform (the "Platform").

LIA4ALL is a shared internship and placement platform for students, companies, and schools. The Platform enables users to create profiles, publish and discover LIA opportunities, submit and manage applications, coordinate placements, and communicate about the LIA process.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for personal data processed for LIA4ALL's own purposes is:

LIA4ALL — stevan.likusic.24@gmail.com

Schools and companies may act as independent data controllers for information they add to the Platform or process through their own placement, recruitment, and education workflows.

3. Categories of Personal Data We Process

Depending on your role and how the Platform is used, we may process:

  • Name, email address, profile image, and account preferences
  • Authentication, session, and account-security information
  • Student education, skills, experience, portfolio, and availability information
  • Company, school, program, and professional contact information
  • Internship listings, applications, application status, notes, and attachments
  • Saved profiles, saved listings, affiliations, invitations, and placement activity
  • Files and media you choose to upload, including CVs, portfolio material, avatars, and cover images
  • Support requests, service emails, and communication records
  • AI prompts and generated email-template content when a company uses an AI-assisted writing feature
  • Technical information such as device, browser, IP, request, and security-event data

4. Purpose of Processing

We process personal data for purposes including:

  • Providing, maintaining, and securing the Platform
  • Creating and managing role-based accounts
  • Publishing and displaying student, company, and school profiles
  • Publishing, discovering, saving, and applying for LIA opportunities
  • Managing applications, placement progress, invitations, and affiliations
  • Delivering transactional and account-related email
  • Providing customer support
  • Generating optional AI-assisted company email templates
  • Monitoring security, reliability, and misuse
  • Improving Platform performance and user experience

5. AI-Assisted Features

LIA4ALL includes a limited AI-assisted writing feature that companies may use to draft email-template content. This feature uses an external AI API provider, currently Anthropic.

The text a company submits to that feature and the resulting draft may be processed to generate the requested content.

AI-generated output is provided solely as a writing aid. It must be reviewed and approved by the user before use. LIA4ALL does not use this feature to make placement, recruitment, admission, grading, or other decisions about students.

7. Data Sharing and Processors

We share personal data only when needed to provide the Platform, follow your instructions, comply with law, protect the service, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers used by the current Platform include:

  • Clerk — authentication and account security
  • Neon — managed PostgreSQL database infrastructure
  • Vercel and Vercel Blob — application hosting and file storage
  • UploadThing — user file uploads and attachments
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Anthropic — optional AI-assisted company email-template generation

8. International Transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Sweden or the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where required, international transfers should be protected through an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism recognized under applicable data-protection law.

9. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to provide active accounts and placement workflows, to maintain necessary business and security records, or to comply with legal obligations.

Retention can differ by data category and relationship. Account deletion, an organization's recordkeeping duties, unresolved applications, disputes, fraud prevention, and backup cycles can affect when particular information is removed.

When information is no longer required, it should be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements and operational backup schedules.

10. Security Measures

LIA4ALL uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the Platform, including:

  • Authentication and role-based access controls
  • Encrypted network connections
  • Managed infrastructure and database providers
  • Input validation and access checks on protected operations
  • Operational logging and monitoring
  • Provider backup and recovery capabilities

No online system can guarantee absolute security. We review and improve safeguards as the Platform develops.

11. Cookies and Analytics

LIA4ALL uses cookies and similar browser storage required for authentication, session continuity, security, interface preferences, and core Platform functionality.

The current application does not configure optional advertising cookies or a third-party behavioral analytics product. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this notice and any required consent controls should be updated before activation.

12. Your Rights

Under applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority

Requests may be submitted to stevan.likusic.24@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

13. Children's Data

Student data may be processed through an authorized school, program, or placement workflow. The responsible school or organization must ensure that it has authority and an appropriate legal basis for the information it adds or requests through the Platform.

LIA4ALL is not designed for children to create accounts independently where parental or institutional authorization is legally required. If you believe a child's personal data has been provided without appropriate authorization, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Platform, our providers, or legal requirements change.

Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, by email, or by another appropriate method. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
